Send a brief message through the website intake form or directly email manaliroy@mindmosaicpsychology.com (mailto:manaliroy@mindmosaicpsychology.com)or call +1 (516) 610 0257 to request a free 15‑minute phone or virtual video consultation appointment to share what you’re seeking and confirm fit. This consultation helps us clarify your concerns and goals as well as assess clinical match or fit between client and therapist. If we decide we’re a reasonably good match, we will schedule your first full session. If there is reason to believe we may not be a clinically appropriate fit, I will let you know during the consultation.
Your first session, known as an intake session, focuses on understanding your current concerns and gathering relevant background information to better understand your broader context. We will discuss your presenting concerns, clarify your therapy goals, and begin developing a plan that supports your needs moving forward.
Typical sessions are 53-55 minutes, with longer intake appointments scheduled as needed.
Duration varies by goals and progress. Some people choose short term and focused work; others want longer‑term therapy. We will review progress regularly and adjust the treatment plan collaboratively.
